Handyman services are limited to work permitted under applicable California law. Certain projects may require a licensed contractor, specialty classification, permit, or additional authorization. Project eligibility will be reviewed before work is scheduled.

This website is for MAT Handyman Services only. California does not issue a separate “handyman license.” Work is limited to jobs permitted under applicable California law.

Jobs we do not advertise as ordinary handyman work

We do not sell unrestricted electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, roofing, fire-protection, asbestos, or other regulated specialty work as standard handyman services.

If a request looks like it needs a contractor license, specialty classification, permit, or extra authorization, it is flagged for review before the job is accepted or scheduled.
